It's Time Bitches!!

DUTCH DOMMMMEEEEEEE!!! What's up fellas. So I'm organizing another golf outing for Hofstra Lacrosse guys because last year was awesome and everyone had a blast. Obviously from the picture above you can tell I had a really really really good time and everyone knew it! First and foremost I want to put the full blame on the Miller family for my blackout. They play mind games with you especially when your drinking so watch out this year because I think they are gonna have two foursomes this year!

To recap last year, the front 9 was great for me, shot a 42, then the turn came and the 20 min in between the 9th and tenth hole I found myself with about 6 others taking shots of Jamison and shotgunning beers. As I go to tee off on the 10th hole I had a small problem. I couldn't see the ball and that's when I knew I was kinda fucked. My drive went about 17 feet and as the last thing I remember, Ryan Miller (my partner in our competition) said, "Timmy's Fucked." And yes from that point on I was fucked, I began to jump through bushes and faceplant all over the course. I had great golf etiquette on the back 9 let me tell you. Holes 13-18 did not happen for me b/c I don't remember them but we had over 15 guys teeing off on the 18th tee box and then the same amount walking off the green together as the course pro was looking at us shaking his head. Good times, good times. Overall we had a great turnout of about 40 guys for the 1st year. Of course, we tailgated in the parking lot for our own golf outing and most of the guys were rocking the tshirts I had made up. Then as everyone began to tee off we had about 15 guys on the 1st tee box watching and harassing everyone who was trying to tee off to start the day off. One highlight I remember is Moyer getting an eagle on the Par 5 1st hole. The kid's outfit was very classy for a golf course (picture to come soon). It only took about 3 holes for people to stop keeping score for the overall competition which was good for my group b/c we would've easily lost due to my 172 on the back 9. And once again I have to say "supposedly" as I recap the rest of the outing because I was blacked out. But supposedly the open bar we had at Sutton Place was a good time as well and the food was unreal. I think I left at about 1030 that night because I couldn't stand anymore so I can't tell you how the rest of the night was but everyone said it was a great time. So that was a recap of last year in a nutshell and I'll have some pictures up real soon from last year. I didn't take a lot b/c well I forgot I had a camera and was in no condition to take pictures that day.

My goal for this year is to get at least another 5-10 groups. I know some of the younger guys want to get in on this b/c all we talked about for awhile after was last year's golf outing. I am going to do t-shirts again, the design is in the works as of now. If Lido golf course let's us back then we will have it there again b/c Long Beach is the place to be in the summer and a bunch of guys already live there. I will try to make the cost around $100 again because the point of this is to not be that expensive and to just be a day of a bunch of turnpike guys playing golf and getting shitfaced together. The round itself is $60 so that takes up most of the cost but I will do my best to make this not that expensive. So spread the word about the outing. The date right now is Saturday July 24, 2010.

Big Game this weekend at the Dutch Dome @ 1pm against Brown. A bunch of us are going to go and tailgate before so give me a call or something if anyone is around.
